Mixed emotions. I don’t know if I will welcome this day as an addition to my life. Many are elated when their day comes. Anticipating and excited of what the day holds them. Nonstop greetings of family and friends. And of course, nonstop teasing on treating everyone.

I welcomed this day with delight, but not so much. Actually, I’m not really contented with what is really happening with my life now. I’ve got so many frustrations regarding my career and another day in my life is a day less to make it happen.

But in terms on keeping and managing relationship, I’m too blessed to have my beloved significant other beside me. I could not ask for more. Complementing is the same as being complete or an addition to complete something, and that is what my significant other did to me. She did not doubt or leave me even if I’m such a pain in the ass sometimes! What I lack of success in my career, is complemented by having the greatest companion one could ever had. I’m so grateful to have her that I unceasingly included her in my prayers of gratitude everyday.

The mighty Lord might be annoyed at my prayers because I attended mass last night for Ash Wednesday and later I will attend mass again with my special someone to celebrate this special day in my life when I commemorate the day that the Lord gave life to me.

Prayers of benediction and gratitude will be the theme of this day for me. Thanks to all the people and friends who greeted me and lastly to my family and relatives, I really appreciated how all of you mold me and instill values and for all the good things that I experienced.

Carpe Diem!!!

This is just a very boring post. I’m not into writing now but I felt the need to share my boring experience.

I’m not used to waking up early in the morning because of my job in the call center industry. It’s my rest day last night and today and on leave until Friday, and I’m very happy that I can get enough rest, which in my line of work is very hardly to come.

Last night sleep was so good, I don’t know what made me rise, maybe it’s the mild headache that I incurred because of too much sleep.

I also need to call my significant other and wake her up because she needs to go to the office and assume her work again as a corporate slave, just like me.

Taking my morning coffee and its partner in crime, the pandesal, I took my hearty breakfast and exercise and lift weights, which I haven’t done for a very long time, and it dawned on me to write again. I hope this will be a regular thing again for me.

I drive a car, a truck to be specific. It is not brand new and my father own it. There are several dents, scratches and other problems in the body as well in the engine itself. I wanted to buy a new sedan or may be an SUV, or probably a truck again. I also entertain the idea of purchasing a used one if I have the opportunity and money.

I heard ways on how to purchase one without exhausting all of your savings for the car of your dreams. One of which is by financing. I find Autropolis to be the one-stop location for all of my question in regards on owning a car.

You’ll be able to judge properly and check for the best options and rates for the car make and model that you want. You can browse through their wide selections of brand new and used sedan, SUV, trucks, wagon and vans.

We actually owned a Nissan Powerpickup and right now I’m in the process of rebuilding it. My uncle owned a Kia van. An accident due to overheating lead it to change its engine block. My uncle then looked for some Used Kia engine block to make it running again.

If only he bought it as a brand new vehicle, then he might get Kia Rebates. But because he only needed a Used Kia engine block, then at this point in time, he will not purchase a new one..just not yet. But if in the near future he will need a new one, I will surely recommend Autotropolis to make his decision making easier. It featured a buying guide and very wide selection for all that is interested in purchasing a brand new vehicle or a used one. Also, good thing is that it also provided list of car dealers in your location, what more can you ask for?!

So many stories to tell. Endless sending of love quotes, messages and letters, chocolates, teddy bears.

Flowers, ahh flowers, especially rose, the ultimate symbol of Valentines Day. Bouquet of roses and different kinds of other flowers.

Hotel bookings. I don’t know why bookings in hotels are quite high during this season. Can you please tell me why hehehe?!

I don’t know why Valentines Day is such a big deal to us Filipinos, but I think it is not only in our country. Other nationalities also celebrate in this day with great passion.

What is so special in this day that the normal guy or girl tends to be much more romantic than in any other day in the year? Well, if you will ask me, I don’t know the answer. Why is the serotonin level of an individual too high in this time of the year? Sorry, but why is the urge of a normal human being shoot sky high because of this celebration of love?

Can you please answer all of these questions for me?

I can smell love in the air!

I’m not a valentines fanatic; however, the love hype won’t leave me hehehe!

Everywhere I go, every channel I switch, all the ads that I see..single or in a relationship, committed or just flirting, people can’t help but be engrossed in the euphoric feeling of being in love due to the phenomena that valentines day brought us.

I like talking about love and relationship. I like sharing experiences and hearing other’s experiences as well. This is one topic aside from making money, business, current news, politics, history, cooking that I’m totally well aware of and very interested.

People in every walks of life will never run out of stories to tell. It’s great to hear other person’s joy and triumph due to the feeling of being in love. Also, we can never leave the fact that there are sad stories as good stories to tell. Stories of misery, despair, separation can ruined someone’s day but also teaches others good lesson to heed.

But however we sees it, valentine’s day are for those who still believes in love and willing to sacrifice everything and go the extra mile for love to live. It’s an embodiment of us being human, capable of having emotion. A day for all that believes love still exist in this world that is full of hatred and loneliness.

At long last!

After several frustrating bouts with the customer service and technical support of Globe Telecoms, our wireless landline and broadband internet was migrated into the fixed wired line.

It’s not new to some of us that wireless internet is a real pain in the ass. You’ll always hear someone ranting how bad their wireless internet connection. I’m not talking about Wi-Fi connection, but the wireless connection through wireless modem.

Some are bundled with a landline, some are not. Ours is bundled with and one problem because of wireless connection to the network is the volume on the other end. You could barely hear the other person talking.

Who will not be annoyed by the promised speeds of this so called broadband provider. They are saying the connection speed is 524kbs, when in reality, you will pray on the dear Lord to get at least a decent connection better than dial-up. But in most times, you always get disconnected. You’re fortunate enough if you’ll get connected at all!

I cannot remember the countless times I called just to complain about this and all you could hear about Globe’s pathetic customer service is they can only escalate the case. Also, it is so annoying that you will be asked the same verification and same issue over and over again. No troubleshooting steps whatsoever with their technical support. No case number or reference number so you can follow up your case. No suggested real solution, and the sad part of it is you are paying for the service that you aren’t getting!

They should set their acts together. Just like what I said, it is so pathetic that a company their size couldn’t organize their customer service. I for one is working in a call center and I’m in the technical support department on my previous account and now venturing on customer service. The account that I’ve been working with is way, way ahead of Globe in terms of satisfying the customer.

At least now, I could call someone and can hear them properly unlike 2 months ago. I could also now surf at a better bandwidth and speed, thanks to wired internet. No more connection problems, no more long hours of agony. Definitely I will not promote the wireless broadband that they offer. Several colleagues and friends are asking for my opinion about this and all I could say is their service really sucks!

I’m sorry for reading this very long post. I couldn’t help myself ranting about how bad the past 2 months in regards to our landline and broadband issue with Globe Telecoms. At least for now, I have a decent connection and hopefully this will last until my contract expire. As the saying goes, there is always a price for everything good.
