Websites in Danger
Most of the websites in the Internet today are failing on several aspects. I’m not saying that this site is flawless, of course there are many facets in web development that I need to enhance and also follow but what I’m telling is you can learn to these questions that I’m going to ask you:
- Does the design represent what you really want to convey to your readers, visitors, prospects, clients or customers? The design should be more on the side that gives light to what you stand for.
- Do you have a ‘Contact Us” information page? For me, this is one of the very important pages on your site. If your site is business oriented, of course you want your potential clients or customers to contact you via telephone or email for questions, and this is vital if you’re into sales.
- Have you considered having a “Frequently Asked Questions” page? This is imperative to website owners if their site is more about products or services. Most customers will ask or check for some important questions along the way that could be answered in this page without having to contact or write you an email, and therefore saves you, the developer the time to answer every bit of questions.
- What about the content? Of course, the content should be well-written, concise, and clear. Many readers will skip and most probably leave the website if they find many flaws on the grammar, spellings and the meaning of words that is not cohesive enough to be understandable.
These are really simple phases in websites development that developers should consider if they want visitors to be regulars and to maintain good traffic.
Link Building Strategies
It is elementary to all website owners that the more links you spread to different websites, the higher the ranking it will be on different search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. I cannot stress this too much, but please make sure that you really have good content so that other website owners will link to you. They will link to you so that it can also boost their own visitors.
Here are some of the methods that I have tried and worked so far:
- I will of course be bias on this because this is what I do…blogging and be sure to promote it wisely.
- Put into practice RSS feeds. Syndicate your article through RSS feeds to help you get good exposure.
- Submit your articles to article directories and not only to any directories but to quality article directories.
- Offer to other blog owner to write on their blogs as a guest blogger. Make sure that it is relevant to your niche so that it will be approved.
- Posting in forums, blogs and guestbooks that place your URL in the signature will help you build friendship with fellow website owners and your main concern, for the search engines to notice and count your links.
- Post article on networking sites like facebook, friendster etc. and traffic to your site will definitely increase.
- Try to write your own press release or hire someone to write it for you but be sure that your links are included on their websites.
- Link swapping is also good form of link building as long as the sites are relevant and on the same niche.
How one will benefit in blog advertising and marketing
The combination of advertising and blogs are match made in heaven. Why did I say this? The significance of blogging is writing your daily experiences, and how hard will it be to write your daily experience with a product or services that you recently tried? Of course, many are skeptical on this and some will definitely will not agree on writing something to market or advertise it, when they could definitely just write what they wanted. They would rather write and write about certain stuffs that may or may not interest other readers. But would it hurt to write opinions on products and services and at the same time will earn you?
Signing up to paid posting services websites offer blogger a very good avenue in generating income in just writing his or her opinion on what the advertiser requested. I haven’t tried it in my months of blogging, and in these months of blogging, I humbly generated traffic and the readership is growing slowly in a good rate. I will surely welcome it and god knows, the opportunity that I let passed before will grant me with additional means to blog about.
Advertisers on the other hand will definitely benefit in utilizing the services of blog marketing because according to marketing studies, it is much cheaper than advertising on other forms of media like print and television. Also, advertising in the internet, and specifically through blogs are widely seen and no print ads and television commercials can match the wide reach it can leave.
I’ve checked Payingpost website a couple of weeks ago and I instantly noticed the new layout and it was very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The layout before was already good, but now the website has a very clean look. There are also some articles that clearly explain all the good things on blog advertising and marketing that are very beneficial unlike other paid posting services that doesn’t explain and give tips to advertisers and bloggers alike.
